Before 1876, communication by language was limited to how far people could hear each other yell. Then Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. The telephone enabled people to speak to each other from how far the land they stood on stretched. That was also the problem. Then radio was used to send telephone signals across the ocean. Later cellular phones were created and is vital to the businesses of today.
